TAGGED.....

First I have to thank Deidre :)

1. Where did you meet your husband?
The big town of Salina...

2. How long did you date before you got married?
On again off again for 4 1/2 years. However one of the
off times lasted almost a year :(

3. How long have you been married?
16 sweet years.

4. What does he do that surprises you?
This is a tough one, I know Kevin's personality so well
I can usually predict most everything. But when he does surprise
me he does it with something completely out of the ordinary.
Like our trip to Hawaii, or selling our house without telling me it was
for sale!!

5. What is your favorite feature if his.
For not being a big man he is very strong and solid! I love his muscles.
However I tease him all the time and tell him I hope he gets FAT. The boy
can eat and eat and never gain a pound. (this is so unfair)

6. What is your favorite quality?
His honesty and Loyalty. Kevin is very honest and always does what it
right. He does not sugar coat anything. If you want to get an honest opinion
about something ask Kevin.

7. Does he have a nick name for you?
Heid, Heidi Ho, and mostly momma!

8. What is his favorite food?
Crab Crab and More Crab. He also eats allot of popcorn and ice cream, and he loves toast with everything. I sometimes hate when he asks for toast because I end up making an entire loaf of toast!

9. What is his favorite sport.
Motocross and baseball

10. When and where did you first kiss.
I'm not sure I can remember that long ago :) J/K it was spring break back in
the 90's (HA HA) and he kissed me when he dropped me off.

11. What is your favorite thing to do as a couple?
Watch movies, go snowmobiling, chase our kids.

12. Do you have children?
Do I ever!! Three boys, and one girl. I also count Kevin as one of my kids, and the dog so that makes six for me.

13. Does he have any hidden talents.
He is very talented. But there is one that is more of a personality trait, and that is everyone likes him even strangers.

14. How old is he?
37

15. Who said I love your first.
Honestly I am not sure, but probably me.

16. What is his favorite music?
Hard rock, old rock, some alternative and hip hop. Not a country fan unless it is old country.

17. What do you admire most about him?
His loyalty. He loves his wife and family, we make him proud. I know there is
no one who could love me as much as he does.

18. What is his favorite color?
Orange ( I know I question it too)

19. Will he read this?
If I tell him I wrote about him today, then yes Definitely!

20. Who do you tag?
Brenna, Shauna, Starli, Krista and Mandi.

Milestones

I was thinking the other day how life changes before our eyes and we don't even know it. My mom had been gone (playing) for the summer and home occasionally on Sundays. She came up one Sunday afternoon to see the kids and was so fascinated by all the new things Jaxon was doing. She kept saying ''Heidi look at him'' or "Heidi listen to him" my response was usually ''I know mom he always does that.'' After a while I realized how much he had grown up in even just a month, and I did not even realize the changes. It is fascinating to watch this milestones.
Jaxon is a wild man on the loose. He is into everything! Sometimes his messes are very inconvenient, and other times we all run to find the camera laughing hysterically at his mischief. As you can see below........ we were just heading out the door in a rush after a crazy morning when I asked where the baby was? After a few minutes of looking, this is where we found him.........happy as could be!!

Potty training early.....

Happy Birthday

Keaten celebrated her 11th. birthday on Sept, 11th. she had a great day. we had a family party that night, and a party with her friends on Saturday. We decided to have her party at the gymnastics studio. I sat up an obstacle coarse, and the girls had to compete against each other. I timed each one and the girl with the fastest time won!! Of course there were rules they had to follow, and if they messed up they would start over again. It was fun they all cheered each other on and did their best. We also split into teams and had some team competitions. We ended with pizza and presents and almost three hours later it was over. It was allot of fun and as birthday parties are.......... allot of work!

Surprise

I accidentally uncovered a great surprise. As I was paying bills on Sunday I decided to pay my credit card payment online. Well knowing I had only used it for a couple of purchases last month I knew there must be a mistake when I got online and discovered the new balance. So I proceeded to call the credit card company in a panic to report this fraud. There were charges from Delta Airlines and Expedia so I knew they were not mine. Well skipping to the punch line after researching a little I ran out the back door to tell Kevin someone had stolen our identity... at this point Kevin just stopped me with a smile and said Happy Anniversary!!!!! I about fell over dead............. in the last 16 years of forgotten anniversary's he made up for it this year.

We are booked to go to Maui Hawaii for a week in October..... I am still in shock but very excited. I feel bad I found out on accident before he could break the news but I can't wait.

A new day

I got over my little moody spell yesterday, and I am doing much better. I don't know what my problem was I was just having a bad day I guess!

Keaten came home from school yesterday very upset. She had heard from some kids at school that a good friend of hers was badly injured in a four wheeler accident. After making some phone calls it was confirmed the rumor was true. We called and talked with her last night and was relieved to hear she was released from Primary Children's Hospital and doing better. She has been through so much over this past week. Our thoughts and prayers are with Taylor and her family she is a great little fighter!!! After they moved we had big plans of keeping in touch and through our busy lives we did not do very well. It was nice to talk to them, later as Keaten and I were talking we discussed how much we love and miss them. With life as crazy and busy as it is, we sometimes forget what is the most important to us. We are blessed to have family and friends, and we appreciate all of you who are part of our lives!

Tired and Moody

I guess it is time for an update. Today is probably not a good day to post an update because I am incredibly moody! In fact I am so moody that I can't even stand to be around myself, you all know how I am when I get like this LOL. I think I am just so tired that I have turned into a walking zombie.......anyways we decided not to sell our house yet. The potential buyers loved the house and called back quickly to make an offer. However how do you place a value on our time? We have not been there long enough to value the amount of time and effort we put in. Plus now is not the best time to be starting another one. I am relieved and so are my kids, much to my surprise Kevin was not anxious to sell just yet. Speaking of Kevin our (story time) is no longer going so well. After reading last night I told him we were done. If you can even imagine he does not like Bella! He thinks she is a quack! So that's it we are done!!!! how could anyone not like Bella? He thinks I will keep reading but he should know me well enough to know that I am not messing around, I stated the rules in the beginning. Like I said before I love these books, there is no way I am going to let him ruin this for me. So there you go story time has ended :) I will keep reading I am enjoying the second time around as much as the first time.

The kids are all doing great. Landon has a game tomorrow, and we are racing in Price this weekend. Something to look forward to, the boys can't wait! Landon hopes to be racing a 250 this time. He's had his eye on one and he is testing it out tonight. He thinks he has a buyer for his 125 so I guess we'll see. I will keep you posted.
